Shazia Khan, MD, attended the Fatima Jinnah Medical College for Women, University of Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan, and received her medical degree in 1988. She then relocated to the United States, where she continued her training with an internship and internal medicine residency served at Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC (1992-1995). Furthermore, Dr. Khan conducted his fellowship in nephrology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC (1995-1997). In addition, she received board certification in internal medicine and nephrology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. She maintains active memberships with the American Medical Association, The National Kidney Foundation, and the American Society of Nephrology.
